WTSP Channel 10 CBS News reported recently that a Pinellas County accident sent three people to the hospital on Thursday, January 7 and shut down all southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 19 near the intersection of U.S. Highway 19 and Innisbrook Drive.
According to officials with Palm Harbor Fire Rescue, the road remained closed after the accident due to the involvement of a truck containing pool chemicals which spilled onto the roadway, necessitating a hazmat response. At least three were hospitalized, although the extent of injuries is unknown.
