• June 23, 1986 – Dunlop tires are recalled for possible damages to the tires’ sidewalls, which could lead to rapid air loss and increase the risk of an accident.
• August 09, 1999 – Problems with Dunlop tires’ sidewalls, which can cause stress cracks or splits, lead to another Dunlop tire recall.
• July 01, 2008 – The Dunlop Winter Sport 3D and Dunlop M3 tires are recalled. The recall is based on the tires’ failure to comply with Federal safety standards for strength, making them more susceptible to failure if met with road hazards.
