Chalik & Chalik Law Offices is proud to sponsor the Survivors Scholarship. The scholarship aims to assist individuals who have survived a serious medical diagnosis. We are proud to support these survivors as they move forward in their lives and pursue new opportunities. The $1,000 scholarship is open to those attending college or law school in the U.S.

The Survivors Scholarship is awarded bi-annually, and one scholarship will be awarded for the spring and fall terms of each academic year. Applicants are asked to submit a short personal essay about how their medical diagnosis and experience with serious disease or injury influenced their choice to pursue a path to college. Applicants must also maintain a current GPA of 3.0 or higher and be U.S. citizens or legal residents.

The First Annual Survivors Scholarship was awarded to Marissa Ierna, a student at the University of North Florida. Marissa was chosen, not only for moving past her medical challenges, but also because of her efforts in helping others with cancer.
