The Orlando Sentinel reported recently that a pedestrian was tragically killed in an incident where he was possibly hit by a motor vehicle in Orlando, FL on the evening of Monday, February 22, 2021 as he attempted to cross a local roadway.
According to officials with the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place on Monday, February 22, 2021 between 5:20 p.m. and 5:40 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Semoran Boulevard in Orlando, near both the intersection of Semoran Boulevard and East Colonial Drive, and the Orlando Executive Airport. Witnesses told Florida Highway Patrol investigators that the man had just crossed the northbound lanes of Semoran Boulevard before he fell back into the left lane. Immediately after he fell, a grey SUV headed north swerved to avoid the pedestrian.
